Swedish Midsummer Festival
Details
An annual celebration of the summer solstice with traditional music by Paul Dahlin with fiddlers from the and fiddlers from the American Swedish Institute in Minneapolis. Dances around the Midsummer pole led by Scandinavian folklorist Ross Sutter. Make a floral crown, enjoy Swedish delicacies, and more! More Info Presented by the Consulate General of Sweden, New York and Battery Park City Authority. Please note: Please come prepared for a warm summer day. Hats, sunblock, parasols/hand-held umbrellas, water bottles, and lightweight clothing are highly encouraged.
